This past week we celebrated "Trevor Appreciation Week." With two siblings getting married within 7 months, we thought Trevor could really use some serious appreciation. I know after my sister got married, I sure felt like I deserved my own month.
We had a great week of:
- Halo (Trevor says I have to double in my skill level. Kevin says I am really good. Obviously I chose to believe Kevin's opinion)
- Lacrosse (Trevor got to scrimmage with the BYU team)
- The Draper Rodeo
- Harry Potter (don't get me started on this)
- Bocci Ball (I think the boys stepped down their athleticism because I somehow won a game)
- Culture (Liljenquist style)
- A visit to the first ever KFC! Did you know that Colonel Sander's original recipe has 10 secret ingredients? Crazy. I learnt other stuff there, but this seemed the most significant.
- Games (none of which I won)
- George Strait Concert
At the rodeo. We most definitely stood out as the city folk - this was rectified at the George Strait Concert, see below.
Kevin and Trevor are without a doubt brothers. They are very similar in their mannerisms. My very favourite similarity though is how they stand on the sidelines - I like to call it "The Sassy Side Line Left Hip Hold."
We went on a little trip at the Monte L. Bean Museum. There is nothing like a taxidermied animal to bring a little culture into your life.
Cowboy outfits at the George Strait Concert. The boys wore cowboy shirts with pearl button, I supplied the large hair and we each had on belt buckles (clearly the most important accessory in the Cowboy world)
Aren't pearl buttons fantastic?!
Camera Shy....or something.
This is my very favorite George Strait song! It made my whole night when he played it. In the words of Trevor "He sounds just like the CD!"

What a fun brother & sister-in-law. Michelle & Cori want to know if they get the same treatment?!!
Duh!!!
Only I feel like they will be too busy to hang out with me, which is why I haven't planned anything yet.
Spares my feelings this way.
you're such a good hostess!
