Kevin talked me into going to look at dogs at the Humane Society Centre this weekend. My one condition was, if we go, we would not be leaving with a dog.
I should have never agreed to it, as Kevin apparently met his soul mate (I'm still trying to figure out what this makes me.) For the past couple of days all I've heard is "Romeo this" and "Romeo that"
It's not that I hate dogs. It's that I hate big dogs. Note that Romeo, Kevy's new "bestfriend", is only 4 months old and currently weighing in at 35 pounds. Now I am not fantastic at maths or knew that much about pit bulls, but already 35 pounds at 4 months....not happening!
Until Kevin is willing to look at dogs that weigh 20 pounds fully grown, we are done here.
For now, all Kevin will have is this picture and a distant memory of a half hour with his precious Romeo. Whereas, I will have to hear about this the rest of my life.

Oh Nicole, I'm so glad you didn't give in! I couldn't stand a big dog like that inside. Plus, is Kevy really going to be willing to take it out for walks when it's freezing cold and snowing outside? If he wants a dog that badly, just do what RB and I do for our boys... tell them they have a dog of their very own, it just lives at the humane society and looks different everytime we visit him.

Hi Kenicki! We're doing great. Thanks for asking. Staying busy with the kids and school and callings and a little volleyball and softball on the side. We are trying to throw some camping trips in the mix as well, but somehow there is hardly enough time!
