One of my favourite memories from visiting my family in the summers, was sleeping over at my Aunt's house. So in my determination to be the "cool" aunt we had Kevin's Nephews over for a sleep over. Unfortunately it decided to rain all night which really put a damper on all of my planned activities.
After convincing Kevin that yes the park would be fun in the rain, he made us put ponchos on and off we went. Wish the boys had told me that wearing the hood was totally uncool.
We played Uno Attack, made pizza and played an intense game of hide and seek, animal style. If you couldn't be found, you could provide a hint by making animal noises. Best quote of the night, was when Kevin couldn't be find, so he gave the hint of "boing de boing" - Noah looked up to me in complete surprise and goes "A Kangaroo? We don't even own a kangaroo!"

I also got to experience being a real adult, by pretending to sleep in the fort, but really waiting to everyone else went to sleep and snuck to my own bed!
Hopefully the boys had as much as fun as we did, and this gives me a favorable standing in the cool aunt poll!

coolest aunt _ever_! I love that you took your nephews overnight. Makes me wish I had enjoyed aunt-hood longer before having my own. Great practice for becoming a super-cool mom. :)
The boys, especially Noah, have brought up their sleepover multiple times... Apparently that was the best game of hide-n-seek ever! They loved it- and might be expecting a followup soon:)
