But Your So Old

Last night something amazing happened. The Beach Boys and John Stamos were in town and decided to sing to me... after I bought a ticket and fought my way through the crowds.

They performed at Universal Studios as part of the Mardi Gras concert series. There was even a Mardi Grad parade where Kevy won me lots of beads. Please don't ask how.

All, 1 1/2, of the currently living Beach Boys were there. They were looking, as my Grand father would say, "very mature." How they still managed to hit all those high notes, I'll never know. Falsetto has never been my thing, thankfully that doesn't stop me from singing along.

You're in for a treat: you can hear both Kevin and I singing in this one.

John Stamos or Uncle Jessie, as I like to call him, was so fantastic. The crowd around me didn't seem to hold the same appreciation. There is always one annoying person at a concert, and I am afraid last night it was me. Only because the crowd around us was literally DEAD. The guy next to me didn't even blink! I didn't let that ruin my fun, I still danced, sung and screamed my heart out. And Katie (a fellow and devout "Full House" and "Jessie and The Ripers" fan) I took these shots of Uncle Jessie just for you, ENJOY!
(NB - A year or so ago Kevin let me chose our Rock Band name and I chose: Kevy and The Knickers. Need I say more?)

Katie I accidentally turned it off when I was trying to zoom in (blame enthusiasm), see below for the remaining 2 mins of Uncle Jessie singing. Everyone else has permission to skip.)

So I tried to film this "mature" couple a million times, but could never quite get it timed right with the lights. They swayed together the whole night. When I'm that old, I hope Kevin and I will be swaying and singing along at a Miley Cyrus concert.

Kevin gets full credit for the blog title. First person to name that movie wins a packet of gum! (And Michelle, you can hold me to that.)

Oh, no! I am way to late, but I know the title is from Aladdin and it is the sultan talking to jafar. woot woot, on my disney trivia!
I love the post, btw. You just keep on being the annoying one at the concert--and if I'm at the concert with you, I will proudly join in.
