Staycation

Knowing that our time in Utah is coming to an end, we have decided that we need to take full advantage of the beauty that is Utah.

Our first Staycation was to the Arches. This time we ventured for something slightly more foreign....Midway! There is nothing better than Mini Switzerland for a weekend getaway.
Our Swiss days went as follows:
- Chess: knee high pieces essential. (Everyone is taller in Switzerland)

- Wining: The winner always has to be the person closest to Scandinavian decent, (ergo, I had to forfeit my right to dominate kevy in chess.....stupid brown hair)

- Swimming/Steam Rooming/Hot Tubbing - no photographic evidence. (The Swiss worry about their technology.)
- Hiking - The goal here is to make as little effort as possible in your appearance, but yet to still look gorgeous (due to German genes I was unable to achieve this one, and holding a very tall stick didn't offer as much distraction as I had hoped!)
- Games: the Swiss loves the Olympic Games. They are tall, blonde, gorgeous and very athletic. Being only one and a half of these things (you decide which) I struggled with this activity.

- Evidence - find the only evidence that Midway, was in fact settled by actual Swiss and not an architect from Disneyland. (For examples of how "Disney meets Switzerland" looks, please visit: http://www.zermattresort.com/site/index.html)
